EUR 36,000 postdoctoral working grant for research on improving the labour-market integration of international students in Finland through AI-based services. The intended host is the Migration Institute of Finland; grant use is formally postponed and may be deferred through January 2030.
The Finnish Cultural Foundation awarded €36,000 from the Huhtamäki Fund for the first year of a planned two-year postdoctoral funding plan. The application topic was Väitöksen jälkeinen tutkimus kansainvälisten opiskelijoiden työmarkkinoille ingroitumisen parantamisesta Suomessa tekoälypohjaisten palveluiden avulla.
The grant application specifies the Migration Institute of Finland as the place of work/study and a 12-month postdoctoral research period. Because of subsequent employment at the University of Turku, use of the awarded grant was formally postponed with the Foundation’s approval. The permitted deferral extends until January 2030; the current website plan is to begin in April 2028. Second-year continuation funding is not presented as already awarded.
