Leveraging AI to Overcome Barriers in Employment for Non-EU International Students

This postdoctoral research project, funded by the Finnish Cultural Foundation, is scheduled to begin on April 2028, at the Migration Institute of Finland. This project will explore how AI-driven services can enhance the labour market integration of international students in Finland, addressing key barriers such as language proficiency, discrimination in hiring, and lack of labour market knowledge. The study will be conducted in multiple phases, including meta-analysis, qualitative research with students and employers, and the development of an AI-powered employment framework.
